Whether you’re new to the area and looking for a church, wrestling with doubts, or just beginning to explore Christianity, we know that walking into a church for the first time can be a bit nerve-racking. Regardless of what your story is, we’d love to have you join us. To help you feel more at ease, below you’ll find a brief description of what Sunday mornings are like at Redemption.

As you make your way up the driveway, our building is immediately on the right. At the entrance greeters will be there to welcome you and answer any questions you may have. Refreshments and freshly brewed coffee will be available in the entry area.

We begin our services with several songs, a time of catechism (question and answers about God), prayer, and announcements. Our kids are with us during this time and we welcome the energy, life, and even the noise they bring to our gathering. At a break in the service there’ll be an opportunity to refill your coffee and drop off your kids at their classes (nursery through 6th grade). This is followed by a 30-40 minute sermon and a song or two to close our time together.

In all of this we are not about performance. We are a group of ordinary people. Some of us arrive on time. Others of us inevitably slip in a few minutes late. Some of us come on our own. Others come herding a swarm of kids. Some of us dress casual. Others more on the business casual side. Some of us have to rush off to work afterwards. Others enjoy time talking with friends long after service ends.

All of us are learning. All of us are in process. All of us know we need God’s grace. All of us are wanting to go deeper in our relationship with Jesus and what it means to trust and know him.

And all of us would love to welcome you this Sunday morning!
